OUR PLANS

UNIVERSITIES

Higher education opens doors for everyone.  Our territory needs well educated people in order to manage our natural resources in a responsible manner that is also beneficial to our people.  With thirteen colleges and universities in the immediate vicinity, Toronto offers a great opportunity to see a number of campuses in a very short period of time.

NIAGARA FALLS

What could be cooler than being on a boat at the base of the Falls?  Going over in a barrel of course! Our teacher has assured us that that won't be happening but it would be so cool wouldn't it?! Seriously, we don't even have hills around Hall Beach so seeing the most powerful falls in North America. We also want to see all the stores and museums in the area.

MUSEUMS

Our plans include visits to the Royal Ontario Museum and the Science Centre for hands on learning experiences and adventures.  Some of us want to see dinosaurs, others want to learn about other cultures and some want to try out some of the neat science experiments we keep hearing about.  Yay!

CN TOWER

We've heard that you can see all over Toronto from the top of the CN Tower. That must be cool!  Since we've never been on an elevator (or an escalator for that matter) how amazing would it to be to go all the way to the top of the tower in one? It would be fun to take the stairs back down though.  How long would that take?

FARMERS' MARKET

Here in Hall Beach we have two stores - the Co-op and the Northern Store. Both stores sell food, clothing and other staples.  We're curious to see and taste what types of food other people eat.  It can't possibly be as good as caribou (tuk tuk) but we'd like to try it anyway! Of course, if we get to go to a mall too that would be awesome!

BASEBALL GAME

We're going to the Blue Jays game on May 8th.  Hope to see you there!

We're also going on a tour of the Hockey Hall of Fame and the Air Canada Centre so we're leaving the Maple Leaf picture up :)
